Running a marathon, playing a basketball game, football, baseball, tennis, swimming…the list goes on. Sports massage aids in readying the muscles for that great burst of energy, then flushing out the toxins after.
You can come to my spa to receive one or both of the treatments below, or I can come to the event and work for the whole team.
Pre-event, Sports Massage is used to warm the tissues and loosen them for better blood flow and to decrease the chance of injury. This includes stretching.
Post-event, Sports Massage flushes away the metabolic wastes created by intense activity and keeps the muscles from cramping or spasming. This really helps to reduce soreness the following day.
